The children of today really need to learn this, because many of them today think they need to live together first in order to see if they really want or need marriage, and if they don’t think they want to marry, well it is OK just to live together and do as they please. Brethren and sisters, this is not so, as seen by the above scriptures.

There are a lot of scriptures in the above Informers, and they all tell us how as Christians we should live our lives. I hope that these have been helpful to some.

                                      "Once We Become A Christian"

Once we become a Christian there are things in our lives that must change in order to please God, and below I will try and explain what is expected of the Christian:

*  First of all we need to keep on studying God's word for instructions and guidance on our private and personal life.

*  By reading and studying God's word we learned that God's grace through our faith in Christ prompts us to live as holy and righteously as we can. (emphasized in 2 Peter 1:3-11).

*  Our activities should always be virtuous;  we should always strive for more knowledge; we should always develope self control; learn patience; Godliness should always be our goal; we should always strive to show brotherly kindness to all.

*  In all things we should strive to show a spirit of love (read 1 Corinthians 13).

We are not going to learn all these qualities over night, that is why we should always search the scriptures to see what is expected of us and then apply those lessons to our lives. The christian life is described as a Race, a Battle, and a growth.

Here are principles that God will shape our living:

The Grace of God brings salvation to all men, it teaches us to say no to ungodly things

We are God's temple and God's Spirit lives in us, and if we destroy God's temple God will destroy us; for God's temple is sacred and we are that temple. (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

As Christians we are to do good to all people, especially to those of the family of believers (Gallatians 6:10).

As Christians we are to add to our faith good-ness; and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control; and to self control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being inefective, and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:5-8).

Always give thanks to God the father for everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20.
