The church of Christ was instituted by Jesus Christ Himself on the day of Penticost 33 A. D.  There was no other church established that would be according to the laid down authorization by Christ, so why are there so many different denominational churches that are wearing the name of church?  The church is made up of all the members that were baptized into Christ, it is not the building, and these members are called Christians. Below you will find a list of some of the denominational churches and the dates they were started,  and who started them:

T​he Model Prayer​​ 
    General Observations:
  • 1. Observe this prayer was a model for His followers before His death and resurection.
  •  2.     Please notice that the prayer was given before Penticost (see Acts 2)thus they were told to pray for the Kingdom to come.
           3. Again the Lord closed the prayer in Matthew with amen being with them personally.
                                   "Ten Point Outline"
   1. Adress the Father
   2. Honor the Father's name
   3. Pray for the Kingdom
​   4. Pray for God's will to be done on earth as is in heaven
   5. Pray give us our daily bread
   6. Pray for forgiveness
   7. Pray for deliverance from  the evil one
   8. Acknowledge the sovereignty an glory of the Father
   9. Pray in Jesus's name
   10. Say "Amen"

           Important points to notice about public prayer:
             a. The model prayer was brief
             b. One should not use prayer as a time to preach
